Germany – Siteworks – Construction logistics execution as part of the renovation of the German Pension Insurance's headquarters

Opportunity description

The subject of the tender is construction logistics services for the renovation, in accordance with heritage preservation requirements, of the German Pension Insurance's headquarters building at Städelstraße 28, 60596 Frankfurt am Main. The construction project comprises the renovation and modernization of the listed building complex, consisting of the main building, connecting building, and Main building. The construction site has an area of approx. 10,450 m² and is located in the immediate vicinity of the Main riverbank promenade. As part of the construction measure, a total of approx. 15,300 m² of gross floor area (GFA) will be converted. Upon completion of the renovation measures, office space for approx. 570 employees as well as the associated social and break areas, including a canteen, will be available. All construction work must be carried out in compliance with heritage protection requirements and the relevant provisions of public law. A construction logistics service provider is to be commissioned to ensure orderly, safe, and economical construction-site operations. The basis for the provision of services is the contracting authority's construction logistics manual. In particular, the contractor will assume the coordination, organization, and provision of the construction logistics services. These include in particular: - Traffic control and access management, - Provision, operation, and maintenance of the construction-site utilities supply, - Provision, operation, and management of the construction-site facilities, including container facilities, - Planning, coordination, and operation of crane logistics, - Organization and execution of waste-disposal logistics, - Implementation and coordination of construction-site safety measures, and - Other construction logistics services defined in the construction logistics manual and the procurement documents.
