Opportunity description

In the future, DEW21 will pursue a data-platform-centric approach in which a central, scalable and highly flexible planning platform forms the core of all planning, forecasting and reporting processes. Integrated specialist modules (controlling, liquidity, grid, sales, etc.) will be subordinate to this data platform and connected via standardized, bidirectional interfaces. The objective of the procurement is both to replace the existing BI system and to optimally connect previously autonomously operated standalone solutions with the overall planning. The planning and forecasting platform serves here as a connecting element to consistently support all planning, forecasting and reporting modules. In particular, the planning and forecasting platform is intended to perform the following functions: - Central storage, harmonization and provisioning of all relevant data (plan, actual, forecast) - Bidirectional connection to modern cloud data platforms such as Snowflake - Flexible integration of modules (controlling, liquidity, grid, sales, ...). - Ensuring uniform data logic and governance. It is also expected that preconfigured best-practice modules will be introduced as a starting point as part of the implementation and that these can be purposefully adapted together with DEW21. The focus is not solely on the standard product, but on quality-assured modeling, integration (ETL/interfaces), and enabling power users to independently further develop and administer the system.
