Special school transport is being put out to tender for the following schools: 1. Astrid-Lindgren-Schule is a special school for intellectual development at primary and secondary level in 32657 Lemgo at the Vogelsang 36 and Johannes-Schuchen-Straße locations, 2. Christian-Morgenstern-Schule is a special school for emotional and social development at primary level at Anne-Frank-Straße 4, 32756 Detmold, 3. Irmela-Wendt-Schule is a special school for language at primary level at Krentruper Str. 15, 32791 Lage. Several routes are established for each school, with each route constituting a lot. This lot is one of a total of 28 lots for Astrid-Lindgren-Schule. Astrid-Lindgren-Schule is a special school for intellectual development with locations at Vogelsang 36 and Johannes-Schuchen-Str. 3, 32657 Lemgo, Tel. 05261/ 2889940. The children to be transported are pupils with intellectual disabilities and often also multiple disabilities. Classes take place at both locations from Monday to Friday - except during school holidays. They begin at 8.10 a.m. and end at 2:40 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays; at 2:10 p.m. on Wednesdays and at 12:40 p.m. on Fridays. The exact arrival times (approx. 10 minutes before classes begin) and pick-up times will be communicated when the contract is awarded. Astrid-Lindgren-Schule has approx. 250 pupils across 2 locations who are currently transported to school and back home on 20 routes each school day. In addition, there are two routes between the two Lemgo locations and four routes for individual transport or early return journeys. The catchment area of Astrid-Lindgren-Schule extends to the following towns and municipalities: Bad Salzuflen, Barntrup, Dörentrup, Extertal, Kalletal, Lage, Lemgo, Leopoldshöhe and Oerlinghausen. An accompanying person is required on most routes. Where possible, the journey time per route from the first child to the school should not exceed 60 minutes. The behavioral difficulties of the children to be transported are so severe that schooling at a primary school is not possible. Classes take place from Monday to Friday - except during school holidays. They begin at 8.10 a.m. and end at 3:10 p.m. on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays and at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesdays and Fridays. The exact arrival times (approx. 10 minutes before classes begin) and pick-up times will be communicated when the contract is awarded. Christian-Morgenstern-Schule has approx. 75 pupils who are currently transported to school and back home on 8 routes each school day. The catchment area of Christian-Morgenstern-Schule extends to the following towns and municipalities: Detmold, Lage, Augustdorf, Leopoldshöhe and Oerlinghausen, Horn-Bad Meinberg and Schlangen. An accompanying person is required on the routes. Where possible, the journey time per route from the first child to the school should not exceed 60 minutes. Irmela-Wendt-Schule is a special school for language (primary level) at Kleines Holz 12, 32657 Lemgo. After the renovation phase ends, the location of Irmela-Wendt-Schule will once again be at Krentruper Str. 15, 32791 Lage. The children to be transported are children with developmental delays/developmental disorders in the area of language. Irmela-Wendt-Schule sees itself as a transitional school. As soon as there is no longer a need for language support, the children are to return to primary school. Classes take place from Monday to Friday - except during school holidays. They begin at 8.00 a.m. and end at 1.15 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and at 12.30 p.m. on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays.
