Façade works - MNGES VE 3.4 Façade Windows + Mullion-and-Transom Façade + Exterior Doors Description of the measure The present construction project involves the new construction of the Martin-Niemöller Comprehensive School in Bielefeld. The planning area extends over a northern and a southern plot, with structures to be erected on each: Southern construction phase Building plot size: approx. 8,995 m2 maximum footprint: approx. 3,457 m2 (plinth floor) Gross volume: approx. 37,674 m3 (Category R) Gross floor area: approx. 7,128 m2 (Category R) Max. building height, top edge of parapet: 14.75 m Northern construction phase Building plot size: approx. 11,960 m2 maximum footprint: approx. 7,549 m2 (plinth floor) Gross volume: approx. 89,887 m3 (Category R) Gross floor area: approx. 16,927 m2 (Category R) Max. building height, top edge of parapet: 21.80 m Type of service VE3.4 Façade Works Windows, mullion-and-transom façades and exterior doors includes comprehensive façade works for the southern and northern construction phases for the Martin-Niemöller Comprehensive School project in Bielefeld. The contractor's scope of services in the construction phases includes, among other things, workshop planning, manufacture, delivery and installation as well as commissioning and maintenance of: - Individual window elements and coupled ribbon window systems made of wood-aluminium - Aluminium insert windows, - Mullion-and-transom façades in wood-aluminium, - Metal cladding, pilaster strips and window sills, - Exterior door systems in aluminium and wood-aluminium as well as their accessories, - Solar-shading, glare-protection and blackout systems. Performance period Execution begins 12 days after the contract is awarded with the preparation of the workshop and installation planning. According to the preliminary construction schedule, the following milestones/target dates are envisaged for the installation work: Southern construction phase: - Ground floor–2nd upper floor (all floors), building envelope sealed: calendar week 13 2027, - Completion of façades (pilaster strips, window sills, solar shading): calendar week 28 2027, - Subsequent installation of façades/exterior doors in temporary construction openings: 4th quarter 2027. Northern construction phase: - Ground floor, building envelope sealed: calendar week 17 2027, - 1st upper floor, building envelope sealed: calendar week 23 2027, - 2nd upper floor, building envelope sealed: calendar week 29 2027, - 3rd upper floor (library), building envelope sealed: calendar week 32 2027, - 4th upper floor (library), building envelope sealed: calendar week 35 2027, - Completion of façades (pilaster strips, window sills, solar shading): calendar week 50 2027, - Subsequent installation of façade types in temporary construction openings: 2nd quarter 2028, Qualifications Contractors carrying out welding work in the workshop or on the construction site must demonstrate their suitability. Evidence is deemed to have been provided if the executing company holds the manufacturer's qualification for execution class EXC2 in accordance with DIN EN 1090-2 and the associated recognition in accordance with DIN EN ISO 3834-3 or 3834-2. Evidence of all required qualifications must be submitted with the tender. Location of the construction site The two sites are bounded to the west by Apfelstraße and separated from each other by the street "An der Reegt". The tenderer is advised to inspect the construction area/building plot on their own responsibility before submitting a tender in order to establish a basis for calculation.
