Parkschule - Conversion into an Elementary School, 2nd Construction Phase, Structural Shell Work on the Main Building. The contracting authority (Magistrate of the City of Rüsselsheim am Main, Building Management Department) intends to convert the Parkschule from a former Hauptschule and Realschule into an inclusive, all-day, 3.5-stream elementary school. In its existing state, the overall complex is divided into several structures: - The listed main building, dating from 1916 - The listed sports hall wing, dating from 1916 - The connecting building, dating from 1916 (demolition) - The cafeteria building, dating from 2007 - The extension building, dating from 1963 (demolition) The main building and the sports hall wing, as well as the cafeteria building, will be retained and renovated or structurally adapted to the new usage requirements. In this structural shell tender, the five-story main building will be renovated. Before work begins, the new Cluster and connecting wing buildings will be occupied; the school containers in the schoolyard will remain in operation.
