The Technical University of Munich (referred to as TUM for short) is the only technical university in Bavaria. With over 55,000 students, it is one of the largest technical universities in Germany. Its headquarters are in Munich. TUM processes, recycles and disposes of its waste on the basis of the Act to Promote the Circular Economy and Ensure the Environmentally Sound Management of Waste (KrWG), the Bavarian Waste Act (BayAbfG) and the Commercial Waste Ordinance (GewAbfV). The advertised packaging and containers are used primarily for the legally compliant temporary storage, transport and disposal of hazardous waste at the respective TUM locations. The advertised services will generally be newly awarded by TUM for the TUM locations in accordance with the tender documents as of 01.01.2027. TUM is tendering the delivery services to be provided for all required container types: canisters/drums/containers/boxes for medical waste.
