Opportunity description

The objective of this funding measure is to support effective and technology-neutral broadband expansion in the project area for the construction of a sustainable, future-proof and high-performance broadband network (gigabit network) in underserved areas. The network operator that is awarded the contract upon completion of this selection procedure will receive a service concession to build and operate a gigabit-capable network for the development area. For this purpose, the successful bidder plans, constructs and operates the required passive and active network infrastructure, including all civil engineering works and components to be applied in accordance with the recognized rules of technology that are necessary to connect the underserved subscribers to a high-performance gigabit network.
