Site preparation The subject of the contract is comprehensive site preparation in the eastern area and part of the southern area of the expansion site for the new construction of Cologne Prison. The contract includes clearing the site, including stump removal. The areas have already been cleared of trees. In preparation for explosive ordnance surveys, the areas in the eastern construction site and in the areas where construction roads are to be built in the southern construction site must be excavated down to the natural ground. An appropriate formation level for the survey must be established. The soil is mixed with foreign objects such as masonry and concrete remnants. The excavated soil must be processed accordingly and then reinstalled and compacted at the specified elevation above sea level as directed by the planning team / construction management. The construction site access on Butzweilerstraße must be established with appropriate safety measures. Future construction site facilities areas and the construction roads must be constructed. The measures will be accompanied by a soil expert provided by the contracting authority. The contractor shall provide the construction site facilities necessary for carrying out its work. The site preparation will take place outside the security area of Cologne Prison.
