Ventilation and air-conditioning systems The former infirmary building at JVA Bremen consists of two sections, one of which will be demolished and the remaining section comprehensively renovated. All building services installations will be dismantled on site up to the building connections. All newly constructed wet areas will be supplied with and exhausted of air via a central ventilation unit. The central unit will be installed in the attic of the two-story building. Air distribution will take place from above, and fire dampers will be provided at the floor slabs. In areas accessible to prisoners, air outlets with JVA approval will be installed. A separate exhaust air system in explosion-protected design will be installed for the painting workshop and paint storage area. The supply air will be provided via the central unit. Procedure: open.
