Opportunity description

The subject matter of this mixed contract is the supply, installation, operation and maintenance of a Road Traffic Code Violation Recording System, which will interoperate with and provide the data required for processing to the “Unified National System for the Digital Recording & Management of Traffic Checks & Fines-Hellenic Police”. More specifically, the contract includes the following: • Supply, installation and configuration of 1000 fixed Road Traffic Code Violation Recording Systems for monitoring red-light violations, occupation of bus lanes and exceeding the speed limit, mobile phone use and failure to use a seat belt/helmet, to support the recording of traffic signals and the transmission of violation data in real time. • Secure connections between the above camera systems, via a mobile telephony provider’s network, and the Hellenic Police’s central information systems. • Supply, installation and commissioning of all the above equipment. • Development, installation and configuration of appropriate software that will be installed and operated on the recording systems for use of the System by Hellenic Police personnel. • Training services for Hellenic Police personnel in the use and management of the integrated System and its individual components. • Provision of operational services under a guaranteed service level (SLA), including fault resolution, for five (5) years from the installation and commissioning of the System. • Proper operation services for the entire system (hardware and software) for five (5) years from the installation and commissioning of the System.
