Opportunity description

The subject matter of the project is the provision of Independent Auditor services, in accordance with the provisions of Procedures D8 “Audit by an Independent Auditor” and D18 “Project Completion” of the Management and Control System (MCS), for Verification of the Achievement of Projects linked to a Payment Request for Milestone 9 of the Recovery & Resilience Fund, implemented by “Information Society S.A.”, as detailed in paragraph 2.2 herein. The objective of the procedure is to verify the satisfactory achievement of each Milestone and Target linked to a payment request, including the non-reversal of already achieved Milestones and Targets of the audited project/action, the prevention of fraud and corruption, the absence of conflicts of interest, the absence of double funding of the same expenditure of Recovery and Resilience Fund Actions and Projects from another Union Fund or programme, and the compliance of the Actions and Projects with the Do No Significant Harm principle and with the climate and digital targets, where required, pursuant to the Regulation. Furthermore, the proper implementation and completion of the Recovery and Resilience Fund Actions and Projects are certified, in accordance with the principles of sound financial management and applicable national and Union law. To verify the completion of the project/action, in accordance with the provisions of the RRF MCS and Procedure D18, it audits the physical and financial scope of each Project/Action, regardless of whether it is linked to Milestones/Targets included in a payment request.
