Opportunity description

The subject matter of the contract is the provision of insurance services for the movable and immovable property of ITE and civil liability toward third parties and employees, and more specifically, the insurance of equipment and building facilities in Heraklion, Crete, Rethymno, Athens, Thessaloniki, Ioannina, Patras and Chania, as well as the insurance of ITE’s civil liability toward third parties and toward its employees and persons employed therein, for one (1) year and specifically from 01/01/2027 at 12:00 p.m. until 01/01/2028 at 12:00 p.m. for the Fire Branch and from 31/12/2026 at 00:01 a.m. until 31/12/2027 at 00:00 a.m. for the K.P.K. and Civil Liability branch, in accordance, of course, with the individual insurance policies. More specifically, the services concern the insurance of ITE’s movable and immovable property and civil liability toward third parties and employees at all ITE facilities. In greater detail, based on the data as of 30/06/2026 (see attached file “30.06.2026 TOTAL INSURED CAPITAL”), they concern: • Fire & Supplementary Risks Insurance for insured capital of €56,293,052.40. • electronic equipment insurance for insured capital of €34,076,297.17 • civil liability: €4,000.00. and, in addition, they will also concern insurance coverage for future new acquisitions. Indicatively, the following are estimated: a) Acquisitions from 01/07/2026-31/12/2026: €2,000,000 including VAT, b) New acquisitions in 2027: €6,000,000 including VAT, c) TAA buildings, estimate for 2027: €56,000,000 including VAT. The insurance of assets that will be acquired or that, due to oversight, have not been insured during the term of the contract shall be effected by written notification from the Contracting Authority to the Contractor and shall be binding upon the Contractor from receipt of the notification under the same terms, price and agreements. During the contract, the Contracting Authority has the right to request cancellation of insurance for equipment that it withdraws or discontinues for any reason. Procedure: open.
