The subject matter of the contract is the development of a new Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response System (PHEPR) in order to improve the operational capacity of EODY and, more generally, of Public Health Bodies. For the implementation of the physical scope, a set of actions should be developed concerning: a) the operational planning of a new Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response System (FUNCTIONAL AND OPERATIONAL LEVEL), b) the creation of a Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Operations Center, with the necessary equipment and IT infrastructure, c) the operation of integrated systems supporting operational decision-making concerning Public Health based on demographic and health data, existing sources and, whenever necessary, predictive models and estimation algorithms, and d) the training of partners involved in Emergency Preparedness and Response activities for the creation of customized training scenarios, virtual exercises and simulations based on historical data and real conditions.
