Declaration of an Electronic, Open, International Tender for the procurement entitled “Upgrading and modernization of the equipment of the Public Merchant Marine Schools of the North Aegean” to meet the needs of the ΑΕΝ/ΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΩΝ/ΧΙΟΥ, ΑΕΝ/ΠΛΟΙΑΡΧΩΝ/ΟΙΝΟΥΣΣΩΝ AND ΔΣΕΝ/ΣΠΜ/ΟΙΝΟΥΣΣΩΝ schools and for the procurement entitled “Procurement of equipment for the Merchant Marine Academy of Macedonia” to meet the needs of the ΑΕΝ/ΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΩΝ/ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝΙΑΣ AND ΔΣΕΝ/ΣΠΜ/ΜΑΚΕΔΟΝΙΑΣ schools and for the “Procurement and upgrading of equipment for Merchant Marine Schools of the Region of Attica,” to meet the needs of ΑΕΝ/ΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΩΝ/ΑΣΠΡΟΠΥΡΓΟΥ, ΚΕΣΕΝ/ΜΗΧΑΝΙΚΩΝ and ΔΣΕΝ/ΣΠΜ/ΑΣΠΡΟΠΥΡΓΟΥ, with a total estimated contract value of seven million three hundred and forty thousand euros #7.340.000,00€# (including VAT and other deductions), with the award criterion being the most economically advantageous tender based on the best price-quality ratio (budget excluding VAT: #5.919.354,84€#, VAT: #1.420.645,16€). The subject matter of the contract is the upgrading and modernization of the equipment of the Public Merchant Marine Schools of the North Aegean, the procurement of equipment for the Merchant Marine Academy of Macedonia, and the procurement and upgrading of equipment for Merchant Marine Schools of the Region of Attica. Ensuring high-quality educational and logistical equipment for the Public Merchant Marine Schools, which will meet both the requirements of national and EU legislation and the modern technological environment of shipping, is a high priority for the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Insular Policy. In this context, the modernization and upgrading of the Schools’ equipment through the procurement of modern educational equipment for them is required.
