Opportunity description

The subject matter of the contract is the supply of equipment and software to enhance the security of the MOD S.A. data network, which is further broken down into: 1. Supply of two (2) Next Generation Firewall (NGF) devices 2. Supply of a Web Application Firewall in the form of a virtual appliance (WAF) 3. Supply of two (2) Virtual appliances to protect users while browsing the internet (Web Proxy) 4. Supply of a virtual appliance for the unified management of the NGF, WAF and Web Proxy devices 5. Supply of backup and disaster recovery software for five hundred (500) virtual servers 6. Supply of Privileged Access Management software (Privileged Access Management – PAM) 7. Supply of Network Analysis and Monitoring Software 8. Supply of Asset Management Software 9. Ransomware containment platform 10. Extension of the duration of the licences for the Contracting Authority’s existing equipment (Fortigate 601E, Fortimail, Fortianalyzer), so that they coincide with the licences to be procured for the products referred to in points (1) to (4) above. All the above equipment and software is accompanied by services for redesigning the existing architecture and security zones of the data network, installation and training services, as well as: 1. Daily support services for a period of three (3) years, by at least two (2) persons, for the management of network security and information systems devices and software 2. Vulnerability Detection and Assessment Services, which will include penetration testing in the external and internal environment of the infrastructure 3. Data Network Security Monitoring and Management Services 24x7 for a period of three (3) years, from a Security Operation Center installed within Greece 4. Equipment and Software Configuration Services The subject matter of the contract is classified under the following Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV) code: 72253200-5 (Systems support services) and additionally 32420000-3 (Network equipment), 48732000-8 (Data security software package). As a mixed contract comprising supplies and services, based on the estimated value of the supplies and services respectively and in accordance with Article 4 of Law 4412/2016, this contract is designated as a service contract.
