Greece – Urban solid-refuse collection services – SUPPLEMENTARY SERVICES FOR THE COLLECTION OF WASTE AND RECYCLABLE MATERIALS FROM THE SETTLEMENTS OF THE MUNICIPALITY OF LOUTRAKI-PERACHORA-AGIOI THEODOROI

Opportunity description

This study concerns the needs for supporting the Municipality of Loutraki-Perachora-Agioi Theodoroi in the provision of supplementary services for the collection of waste and recyclable materials and the washing of bins from the settlements of the Municipality of Loutraki-Perachora-Agioi Theodoroi, from all locations where waste bins have been or will be placed. The purpose of these services is the effective provision of cleaning and hygiene services to permanent and seasonal residents as well as visitors to the area, the protection of public health, and the improvement of the Municipality’s aesthetic appearance, because the large quantities of waste deposited (in waste bins) at central locations result in the creation of sources of contamination and risks to public health and in negative comments being expressed about the Municipality. The above services will be provided to the Municipality of Loutraki-Perachora-Agioi Theodoroi as constituted pursuant to Law 3852/2010 “New Architecture of Local Government and Decentralized Administration – Kallikratis Programme”, as in force. The calculations for the performance of the above services will be made in accordance with Joint Ministerial Decision 114218/1997 “Establishment of a framework of specifications and general solid-waste management programmes”.
