European open tender for mowing verges and waterways in Gorinchem. The reason for this tendering procedure is the expiry of the current Agreement for mowing work on verges and waterways in Gorinchem. The need for these services will also continue in the future. Therefore, Waterschap Rivierenland and the Municipality of Gorinchem intend to conclude a new Agreement by means of this tendering procedure. This new specification is being put out to tender with the aim of contracting a new contractor to perform the work described in the specification. The landscaping maintenance to be carried out broadly consists of: Mowing verges, slopes and nature areas; Mowing nature-friendly banks; Additional mowing around trees; Mowing lawns on part of the fortress ramparts; Mowing strips and sight triangles; Mowing the wet profile of waterways and ponds; Removal of grass clippings; Implementing traffic measures; Implementing protective measures for flora and fauna. Agreement term: The fixed term of the contract is from 3 April 2026 through 31 December 2026. The contract has an extension option of 3 times 1 year. The resulting total contract term may therefore be 3 years and 9 months. Waterschap Rivierenland is the lead organization for this tender. Procedure: open. Estimated value: 2,800,000 EUR.
