Through this procurement procedure, the contracting authority intends to contract one contractor who, with effect from 1 January 2027, will be responsible for carrying out weed control maintenance on paved surfaces at the cemeteries. The objective is to achieve a professional, reliable and high-quality performance of the work, while ensuring that the cemeteries retain a well-maintained, safe and dignified appearance. The work must be carried out systematically and efficiently and in accordance with the specified quality levels, with due regard for sustainability and minimal inconvenience to visitors. This agreement is intended to ensure continuity in performance and to establish a partnership with a party capable of proactively contributing to quality improvement and optimal service provision throughout the term of the contract. See procurement documents. The contract concerns carrying out 8 maintenance rounds per year for weed control on paved surfaces at cemeteries within the municipality of Zaanstad. The scope of the work is based on the current situation and the expected maintenance level. However, this year work will begin on converting some of the paths to asphalt.
