Opportunity description

The municipality intends to procure the coordination, organization and implementation of sports, physical activity and prevention activities. The contract is aimed at encouraging an active and healthy lifestyle among residents, with extra attention to children, young people and vulnerable residents. In addition, it concerns the coordination of the municipal Physical Activity Team and the connection between sports, physical activity, health, prevention, education, care and welfare. The contractor is responsible for developing, organizing, coordinating and implementing a broad local range of sports and physical activity offerings. These include, among other things, after-school sports and physical activity activities, activities during school holidays, support for sports days, activities for young people, physical activity and walking groups, fall prevention, Doortrappen, Sociaal Vitaal, activities for newcomers, Nationale Diabetes Challenges and Uniek Sporten. In addition, it concerns supporting and advising sports clubs and civil society organizations and connecting residents with suitable sports and physical activity offerings. For this purpose, the contractor works structurally with, among others, schools, sports clubs, care and welfare organizations, physiotherapists and other local and regional partners. An important part of the contract is the coordination of the Physical Activity Team. The contractor ensures the planning and coordination of work and staff, is the central point of contact for the municipality and cooperation partners, participates in relevant consultation structures within the Social Domain and monitors the coherence between the various sports, physical activity, health and prevention activities. The connection with the Combined Lifestyle Intervention (GLI) is also part of the contract. This involves cooperation with certified GLI providers, and residents are referred from care and prevention, where possible, to suitable local sports and physical activity offerings. The estimated contract value is approximately € 650,000 per year. The contracting authority intends to enter into an agreement for a maximum of 4 years. The framework agreement is fully utilized and therefore ends by operation of law when the maximum contract value is reached. The maximum contract value is determined on the basis of the estimated value of the contract, increased by 20%. The maximum value is: €3,120,000 excluding VAT. Procedure: neg-wo-call.
