The Province of Zeeland will begin the construction of a new bypass on the south side of Oud-Vossemeer. This will become a new link in the N656 between Tholen (city) and Sint Philipsland. This will give a boost to road safety and traffic flow. The current through route through Oud-Vossemeer no longer meets requirements. The Bypass will make the village quieter and safer for traffic, and traffic will be able to flow better around the village.
