Wetterskip Fryslân announces the procurement procedure for the project "dike improvement Ternaard – Peazens-Moddergat (TPM)". The dike reinforcement project "dike improvement TPM" is part of the Flood Protection Programme. The procurement concerns a European procurement procedure using competitive dialogue. The procurement aims to conclude one Agreement with one company or combination of companies for the Contract: Dike Improvement TPM. This concerns the design and execution of the Dike Improvement TPM of the primary flood defence - dike ring 6.4 of the Wadden Sea dike - between kilometre 42.90 up to and including kilometre 54.40. The Contract will be awarded to the Tenderer who has submitted the Most Economically Advantageous Tender based on the best price-quality ratio. The Contracting Authority aims to contract the most suitable Contractor who, on the basis of project-specific competencies, expertise, equipment and distinctive capabilities, will carry out the Contract (the design and execution of the dike improvement TPM) and prevent and control the risks as effectively as possible. This is with the aim of completing the Works on time, within budget, safely, with as little disruption to the surrounding area as possible and with the requested and offered quality. The result of the project is that, after carrying out the dike improvement of the primary flood defence between Ternaard and Peazens-Moddergat over kilometre 42.90 up to and including kilometre 54.40 in accordance with the contractual conditions, this dike section meets the required environmental value for flood safety under the Decree on the Quality of the Living Environment.
