Opportunity description

The objective of the Water and Climate Adaptation Plan 2022-2026 is for Enschede to be prepared by 2050 for rainfall of 70 mm in one hour. The municipality aims to implement the measures by 31 December 2033 at the latest, for the time being in accordance with Annex 1: Improving the main drainage structure; Creating additional water storage; Integrally combining municipal ambitions, including greenery, the district heating network, traffic and parking.
