The VRT wishes to contract one Contractor per lot for the supply of thermal imaging cameras (WBCs) and associated accessories. The WBCs will be used to support firefighting, technical assistance and incident response and contribute to the safety and effectiveness of emergency responders during operational deployment. The procurement comprises the following lots: • Lot 1 – Decision Making Camera: thermal imaging camera for use under severe and extreme conditions, with an emphasis on heat resistance, robustness and decision-making during deployment. • Lot 2 – Situational Awareness Camera: personal thermal imaging camera for orientation in smoke, detection of thermal traces and support of individual safety, with minimal controls and a maximum weight of 500 grams. WBCs and accessories are understood to include: accessories, chargers, batteries, software, maintenance and repair options, technical support, updates and training. Framework agreement; no guaranteed purchase. This lot concerns the supply of tactical thermal imaging cameras specifically designed for use in firefighting and post-incident inspection. These cameras must be robust, easy to operate and deployable in extreme heat. Framework agreement; no guaranteed purchase. This lot concerns the supply of lightweight, personal thermal imaging cameras for situational awareness, intended to help personnel operate quickly and effectively in smoky conditions. These cameras must be intuitive to operate, weigh no more than 500 grams and provide a detailed thermal image without superfluous features. Framework agreement; no guaranteed purchase.
