Opportunity description
Under the WGA self-insurer arrangement, the employer is directly responsible for financing the WGA benefit attributable to the employer (for up to 10 years after it is awarded). In addition, after a WGA benefit is awarded, the obligation to provide reintegration support transfers from UWV to the employer. To cover the risks associated with WGA self-insurance, the contracting authority wishes to continue a WGA self-insurer insurance policy. This concerns private insurance for financing WGA-fixed and WGA-flex benefits attributable to the employer. All employees (whether or not employed under a permanent contract, working in the Netherlands and abroad, on-call workers and flexible workers who may fall under the Sickness Benefits Act and whose potential WGA benefits are attributed to the self-insurer) are then covered by the policy. This is in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations of 1 January 2017. As of the reference date of 1 January 2026, the contracting authority employed 425 employees. The relevant payroll amounts to € 21.772.775, --. Procedure: open. Review the original TED notice for the complete requirement, lots, amendments and attachments.
