The contract concerns a highly specialized form of youth care that can only be provided within a hospital environment by pediatricians who are authorized and equipped to provide this care. It therefore does not concern regular care but a specific combination of pediatric expertise; ADHD diagnostics; pharmacological treatment; medication monitoring; cooperation with general practitioners; cooperation with youth physicians and cooperation with other hospital departments. This hospital care forms an integral part of the broader ADHD care chain in the Hart van Brabant region, where hospitals, general practitioners and youth healthcare services work together to provide appropriate and efficient care for young people.
