Following a negotiated procedure without prior publication, TenneT intends to award a contract to RWE Generation NL BV in order to guarantee the availability of the Amercentrale for voltage management and resolving (or preventing) transmission constraints in the Province of Noord-Brabant. Under the agreement, the Amercentrale will be available exclusively to TenneT and may be deployed between 1 May 2027 and 31 December 2028. The estimated value of the agreement excludes the costs of activating the unit (costs for biomass, natural gas, CO2 emission allowances (EUA), and auxiliary materials). Procedure: neg-wo-call.
