Opportunity description

The Contract concerns the provision of the following postal services for the benefit of the Participating organizations: • The collection, sorting and delivery of outgoing mail, including registered mail and letterbox parcels, with a domestic or international destination. This mail is sent from the Netherlands. • The handling of other services. The other services consist of: o Physical return mail. Handling return mail that must be delivered to (office) locations of Participating organizations within the Netherlands. This mail may originate from within the Netherlands or abroad. o Collection and delivery of postal items. o Forwarding service for incoming postal items to a temporary or new address, o For Lot 1, post office boxes, business reply numbebusiness reply numbers, including shipments to business reply numbers, are within the scope. Lot 1 concerns postal services for approximately 89 Participating organizations. Annex 7 specifies exactly which organizations these are. The postal services consist of collecting, sorting and delivering outgoing mail with a domestic or international destination. This mail is sent from the Netherlands. Lot 1 comprises an estimated volume of approximately 253 million postal items per year. In addition, Lot 1 includes services for post office boxes (fixed rate) and business reply numbers (fixed rate), including receipts from the business reply numbers, for all Participating organizations (102). See Descriptive Document. Lot 2 concerns postal services for 13 Participating organizations. Annex 7 specifies exactly which organizations these are. The postal services consist of collecting, sorting and delivering outgoing mail with a domestic or international destination. This mail is sent from the Netherlands. Lot 2 comprises an estimated volume of approximately 21 million postal items per year. Services for post office boxes (fixed rate) and business reply numbers (fixed rate), including receipts from the business reply numbers, are expressly outside the scope of this lot.
