Opportunity description

The present contract concerns the processing of the Single-Stream Hazardous Waste. This involves the collection (at Central collection points), removal and processing of Hazardous waste substances, as well as the supply of collection containers (packaging). Packaging includes both rental and purchase. In addition, the contract also includes the administrative processing of invoices for the Participating services. For the entire contract period of 4 years (including the option year), the Contracting authority estimates the contract volume at approximately 12,000,000 kilograms of Hazardous waste, approximately 44,000 purchased packaging units and approximately 10,500 rented packaging units. Furthermore, for the entire contract period of 4 years (including the option year), the Contracting authority estimates 100 hours for the deployment of a technical environmental adviser. In addition, the Contracting authority estimates that approximately 2,000,000 kilograms of additional Hazardous waste may possibly be added.
