AI 2025-0200 - Processing of waste paper and cardboard (OPK) and glass The Contract consists of the processing of OPK and glass collected by the Municipality. Residents of Amsterdam can separately dispose of their OPK and glass via underground and above-ground containers. In addition, the Municipality has seven Recycling Points (see: https://www.amsterdam.nl/afval/spullen-wegbrengen-naar-een-recyclepunt/) where citizens and businesses can dispose of their OPK and glass. Finally, BAC, part of the Municipality, also collects OPK and glass from businesses. Transport to the Tenderer’s location(s) is carried out by the Municipality. The present Contract is revenue-generating in nature. The Contractor acquires the raw materials (OPK and glass) supplied by the Municipality and is responsible for storage and transshipment, logistical removal and processing. Ownership and risk of the offered batch pass to the Contractor at the time of acceptance following weighing and quality control at the receiving location. This is recorded on the weighbridge ticket and in the quality declaration. Based on the monthly statement, the Municipality invoices the proceeds in accordance with the Agreement.
