Opportunity description

The work to be carried out is located in the province of Zeeland within the management area of the contracting authority and is divided into the following nine (9) lots: Lot 1 – various locations on Schouwen-Duiveland; Lot 2 – various locations on Tholen and Sint Philipsland; Lot 3 – various locations on Walcheren; Lot 4 – various locations on Walcheren and Noord-Beveland; Lot 5 – various locations in Zak van Zuid-Beveland; Lot 6 – various locations in Zuid-Beveland North and East; Lot 7 – various locations in western Zeeuws-Vlaanderen; Lot 8 – various locations in central Zeeuws-Vlaanderen; Lot 9 – various locations in eastern Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. The scope of the framework agreement includes maintenance of the contracting authority’s water systems, consisting primarily of the following activities: Carrying out mechanical dredging from the bank (using an excavator with a maximum reach of 22 metres) of various waterways for maintenance dredging work; Transporting the released dredged material; Carrying out bank restoration, including fauna exit points; Repairing drainage outlets; Removing and installing (agricultural) dams; Cleaning culverts; Carrying out vegetation work (pruning) prior to carrying out dredging work; Carrying out emergency work for the water system; Carrying out ancillary work. The following matters do not fall within the scope of the framework agreement: The contracting authority reserves the right at all times to carry out work in all lots using its own equipment, whether or not in cooperation with the contractor; Investment projects; Overdue dredging work; In emergencies, the contracting authority reserves the right to engage third parties; Work specified in this framework agreement that coincides with other work on the water systems (combining work); Work requiring measures to be taken for working in contaminated terrestrial soil and/or sediment.
