Opportunity description

The municipality of Enschede and the municipality of Losser, as contracting authorities, both wish to contract one contractor to provide physical manned security for the accommodation locations for Ukrainians. Pursuant to the European Temporary Protection Directive (TPD), the municipality of Enschede and the municipality of Losser are responsible for accommodating Ukrainians in the city. The Ukrainians are accommodated at various accommodation locations in the city. Physical manned security has been deployed at these accommodation locations. For this procurement, for both Lot 1 Enschede and Lot 2 Losser, we are looking for a security company that can perform these services. Refugees from Ukraine have protection in the Netherlands under the European Temporary Protection Directive (TPD). In June 2025, this was extended through 4 March 2027. The government is working on a return programme to help refugees who wish to return achieve a sustainable return.
