The Contracting Authority hereby invites you to submit a tender for the supply of five (5) Mechanical Field Service Trailers (MFSTs) and the performance of preventive, corrective and modification maintenance and damage repair on five (5) MFSTs for fifteen (15) years from the last delivery. In the context of this procurement procedure, the Contracting Authority is issuing a contract for the supply and maintenance of a trailer equipped with a demountable container that can be coupled to various vehicles within the Ministry of Defence. The trailer will be used for the storage, supply and replacement of lubricants in the field, at locations within base support, including, among others, garage, workshop, landing and beach areas. The configuration to be supplied must consist of a 10ft container suitable for placement on the Pacton T-30 trailers made available by the Contracting Authority. The container must be equipped with all the equipment required for storing, supplying and using lubricants and must have provisions that enable entry into the container as well as the safe, effective and efficient performance of work. The trailer and container must also be maintained throughout the term of the agreement. This includes both preventive maintenance, to prevent damage, and corrective maintenance, to remedy damage. The maintenance concept will be coordinated with the Contracting Authority based on how the trailer and container are used in the field and will contribute to the safe, reliable and efficient deployment of the system.
