The Contracting Authority hereby invites you to submit a tender for the procurement of the supply, maintenance and inspections of Warehouse Racking Equipment and the supplies of Automated Storage Systems. The contract is divided into two lots: Lot 1: Supply, maintenance including legally required inspections and safety inspections, and spare parts for various types of warehouse racking equipment. Lot 2: Supply of automated storage systems. This division into lots offers multiple parties the opportunity to submit a tender. This promotes competition and allows specialized suppliers to focus on the lot that best matches their capabilities and expertise. Years of budget cuts within the Defence organization have led to severely outdated warehouse racking equipment. Due to current developments, efforts are being made to catch up in order to improve the quality of the facilities again. In addition, units are being expanded and Defence locations are being revitalized, making new warehouse racking equipment necessary. In addition to the obsolescence of the racking equipment, there is also a wide variety of types and brands. Maintenance of warehouse racking equipment is divided into preventive and corrective maintenance and inspections. Preventive maintenance is maintenance prescribed by applicable and statutory regulations and/or the manufacturer, which is necessary to safeguard safety and to detect and remedy defects at the earliest possible stage. Identified defects that can be remedied immediately fall under preventive maintenance. Corrective maintenance may arise from preventive maintenance (if it cannot be remedied immediately during preventive maintenance) as well as from reported malfunctions and/or damage. The intended agreements will be Defence-wide agreements used by the Army, Air Force and Navy. The scope of the procurement in Lot 1 concerns: Supply of warehouse racking equipment, including at least: Pallet racks; Shelving racks; Cantilever racks; Drawer racks; Wide-span racks Mezzanine floors; Wide-span racks; Tire racks; Items for inventory protection; Maintenance and inspections of warehouse racking equipment; Advice and Cooperation. Preventive, corrective and modification maintenance of the Contracting Authority's entire range of Warehouse Racking Equipment; Inspections, including at least all legally required inspections of the Contracting Authority's entire range of Warehouse Racking Equipment; Years of budget cuts within the Defence organization have led to severely outdated warehouse facilities. Automated storage systems are in use at Defence locations in the Netherlands, the Caribbean, Germany, Lithuania and, where applicable, at other locations abroad. The largest depots are currently located in Lettele, Steenwijk, Soesterberg, Den Helder and Woensdrecht. In addition, expansion to other (Defence) locations in the Netherlands will take place in the coming years. The intended agreements will be Defence-wide agreements used by the Army, Air Force and Navy. The scope of the procurement in Lot 2 concerns: Supply and installation of automated storage systems, including at least: Paternoster cabinets; Storage lifts; Associated Software; Accessories; Advice and cooperation.
