Netherlands – Winter-maintenance materials – Procurement advice and equipment for winter road maintenance

Opportunity description

The scope of the contract is to prepare the winter road maintenance together with the contracting authority, to supply and maintain the equipment and materials required for winter road maintenance, and to provide support in carrying out the winter road maintenance. To prevent fragmented procurement, a task-oriented approach has been chosen. The following are excluded from this procurement: o The supply of salt and brine; o The coordination and performance of winter road maintenance; o The management and maintenance of the municipal road-surface measuring points; o The provision of meteorological support. - Draw up and implement a new winter road maintenance plan (policy and operational); - Supply/rental/lease, etc. of replacement winter machinery: keep the municipal fleet of winter machinery up to date (operational, reliable); - Route guidance systems and vehicle tracking: implement and keep efficient and operational; - Bring and maintain employees' level of knowledge up to standard; - Apply innovations (promote and utilize them), fulfill tasks as sustainably as possible; - In collaboration, carry out winter road maintenance annually in a sustainable and integrated manner; - Achieve the sustainability objective: 50% less CO2 emissions and 50% circular operations by 2030; - Lay the groundwork toward the sustainability objective: fully climate-neutral and circular operations by 2050.
