Opportunity description

The subject of the contract is the preparation of a complete building survey and complete design and cost-estimate documentation for the investment project entitled “KWP Katowice – modernization of buildings A, B, C, stage I, adapting the KWP buildings at 19 Lompy Street in Katowice to fire safety regulations.” The design and cost-estimate documentation prepared under this contract should comply with the Construction Law Act and be accompanied by a list of studies and the Contractor’s written declaration that it has been prepared in accordance with the applicable regulations and standards and that it is being delivered in a condition complete from the point of view of the purpose it is intended to serve. The subject of this contract includes, among other things: Studies comprising the documentation: • complete building survey (including discipline-specific surveys); • fire safety expert report describing how the existing facilities are to be adapted to the applicable fire safety regulations; • obtaining a favorable Decision of the Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service in Katowice concerning the prepared expert report; • complete design concept (architectural and construction, and discipline-specific), together with an estimated valuation of the solutions contained in the expert report (including potential approved derogations); • complete construction, technical and detailed design documentation, together with a cost estimate (investor’s cost estimate, unpriced cost estimate, bill of quantities). Within the required deadline, the Contractor shall submit to the Contracting Authority complete multidisciplinary design documentation for the investment project in the following number of copies: 1. Complete building survey (including discipline-specific surveys) – 5 copies in paper form + 5 copies on CD; 2. Expert report together with a favorable Decision of the Silesian Provincial Commander of the State Fire Service in Katowice – 5 copies in paper form + 5 copies on CD; 3. Complete design concept (architectural and construction, and discipline-specific), together with an estimated valuation of the solutions contained in the expert report (including potential approved derogations) – 5 copies in paper form + 5 copies on CD; 4. Complete construction, technical and detailed design documentation, together with a cost estimate (investor’s cost estimate, unpriced cost estimate, bill of quantities) – 5 copies in paper form + 5 copies on CD.
