The subject of the contract is: “Adaptation of a building to establish a Branch of the Community Self-Help Centre in Starachowice TYPE-C, together with initial equipment – STAGE II”. The main scope of the contract includes: In connection with the extension and reconstruction involving a change in the use of the building located on cadastral plots No. 560 and 559/16, precinct No. 05, the following works are planned: ◦ demolition of partition and non-load-bearing walls, ◦ demolition of partition and non-load-bearing walls, ◦ construction of new partition walls, ◦ creation of new door openings, ◦ replacement of internal and external door joinery, ◦ replacement of window joinery, ◦ extension to include an external platform for persons with disabilities, ◦ demolition of external stairs, ramps and retaining walls, and construction of new external stairs and ramps adapted to the needs of persons with disabilities and equipped with railings, ◦ installation of damp-proofing and thermal insulation on foundation walls, ◦ installation of thermal insulation on the building’s external walls, ◦ installation of thermal insulation on the building’s flat roof, ◦ installation of thermal insulation on the ceiling above the basement, ◦ installation of new flooring, ◦ dismantling of sanitary fixtures and installation of new sanitary fixtures in the building, ◦ replacement of the central heating system throughout the building, ◦ installation of mechanical ventilation in the building, ◦ replacement of the electrical, sanitary and gas installations throughout the building, ◦ construction of roofing over the terraces, ◦ infilling of the ceiling and creation of an opening in the ceiling, ◦ replacement of guttering, downpipes and sheet-metal flashings, ◦ replacement of the roof covering, ◦ protection of equipment supplied as part of the works completed in Stage I. Accessibility for persons with disabilities: The facility is accessible to persons with disabilities from the outside via a wheelchair ramp by the stairs. A platform for persons with disabilities by the terrace. Inside, however, the facility will be accessible via a passenger lift. Bathrooms adapted for persons with disabilities will be located on each floor of the building in question. The Contracting Authority does not require, but provides for the possibility of, a site visit by the Contractor before submitting a tender. As the contract covers works in a restricted area, the Contractor may conduct the site visit independently. The Contracting Authority requires the Contractor or subcontractor to employ, on the basis of an employment relationship within the meaning of Article 22 § 1 of the Act of 26 June 1974, the Labour Code, persons performing the specified activities related to the performance of the contract in the following trades: - performance of demolition works, - performance of structural and construction works, - performance of electrical works, - performance of sanitary works, - performance of road works, - performance of finishing works.
