Poland – Cleaning and sanitation services in urban or rural areas, and related services – Maintenance of cleanliness and order in the Town and Municipality of Września

Opportunity description

1. The subject of the contract is the maintenance of cleanliness and order in the Town and Municipality of Września, consisting of performing activities related to the mechanical and manual cleaning of road surfaces, pavements, squares and parking spaces, emptying street litter bins and transporting the waste, and operating and servicing public toilets in Września. 2. Characteristics and brief description of the contract: 1) cleaning road carriageway surfaces by mechanically removing sand and other debris from carriageway surfaces, parking and bus bays, and traffic islands located at carriageway level, together with transporting the collected sand and other debris to a landfill. Road carriageway surfaces must be cleaned mechanically and, in places where specialist equipment cannot be used, manually. Sweeping must be carried out at times when it will not cause a nuisance to residents or inconvenience to road users – the Contracting Authority will provide a weekly list of streets scheduled for cleaning; 2) spring washing of road carriageway surfaces after routine cleaning – the Contracting Authority will provide a list of streets scheduled for washing; 3) cleaning road infrastructure in the Town and Municipality of Września by cleaning areas located within the rights-of-way of streets and pedestrian routes, i.e. pavements, cycle paths, public car parks, designated parking bays, paid parking spaces, outdoor steps, bus stops and other publicly accessible places, including areas where property owners are responsible for systematic maintenance of cleanliness – consisting of comprehensive activities by the Contractor aimed at maintaining cleanliness throughout the term of the contract – the Contracting Authority will provide a weekly list of pavements, etc. scheduled for cleaning; 4) emptying waste bins located within rights-of-way – the area within a radius of at least 5 m from each bin must also be kept clean no less than twice a week; 5) carrying out cleaning work also on Saturdays and Sundays (patrols, manual cleaning) within the town – the Contracting Authority will indicate the places that must be kept clean and orderly at weekends; 6) cleaning bus shelters – the Contracting Authority will indicate by telephone or e-mail the shelters that must be cleaned; 7) operating and servicing the public toilets by the Lipówka reservoir, in Dzieci Wrzesińskich Park, in Marshal Józef Piłsudski Park, and in the car park at ul. Gnieźnieńska and ul. Harcerska in Września, including cleaning, supplying cleaning and hygiene products, and emptying the holding tank (Lipówka). During the period of winter road maintenance in the Municipality, the Contracting Authority will specify to the Contractor the scope of activities to be performed under this contract. 3.
