The subject of the contract is the provision of a service consisting of the collection, pickup, transport and disposal of medical waste, including the rental of a refrigerated container, for a period of 12 months. The Contracting Authority anticipates generating an average of 18 297,00 kg of medical waste per month, including on average: • Group 180102* - Body parts and organs as well as blood containers and preservatives used for its storage (excluding 18 01 03) - 0,50 kg; • Group 180103* Other waste containing viable pathogenic microorganisms or their toxins and other forms capable of transferring genetic material, which are known or for which there are reliable grounds to believe that they cause disease in humans and animals (e.g. infected adult diapers, sanitary pads, underpads), excluding 18 01 80 and 18 01 82 - 11 500 kg; • Group 180104 - Waste other than that specified in 18 01 03 (e.g. dressings made of fabric or plaster, bedding, disposable clothing, diapers) - 6 556,25 kg; • Group 180106* - Chemicals, including chemical reagents, containing hazardous substances – 78,75 kg; • Group 180108* - Cytotoxic and cytostatic medicines - 76,75 kg; • Group 180109 - Medicines other than those specified in 18 01 08 - 80,75 kg; • Group 180182* - Food residues from patients in infectious disease wards – 4 kg; The quantities of waste provided are estimates; the Contracting Authority does not undertake to transfer all of the aforementioned waste in the quantities specified above.
