Opportunity description

The subject matter of the contract is the purchase and delivery to the Institute’s headquarters of computer equipment, peripheral devices, power supplies, computer materials and software, described in the Parameters and Prices forms for each of the separate parts and hereinafter also referred to as "equipment" or "software". The contract award procedure has been divided into seventeen parts (17) parts in order to enable separate tenders to be submitted for these parts. A contractor participating in the tender may submit a tender for a number of parts of its choice, i.e. for one, more than one or all of them. A detailed description of the minimum technical and functional parameters, the quantities of equipment and software ordered, and other requirements concerning the subject matter of the contract is contained, respectively for each part, in Annexes No 2.1–2.17 to the SWZ – Parameters and Prices Form. Tenders offering above the minimum required by the Contracting Authority (in terms of technical parameters and the minimum quantities of required parameters and values) will be considered to meet the Contracting Authority’s requirements. Where the Contracting Authority has specified a maximum value for a required parameter, any parameter equal to or lower than that maximum value will be considered to meet the Contracting Authority’s requirements. Where a given parameter is specified as a minimum or a specific number/value is indicated in the requirements, the Contracting Authority will consider that any number/value offered for that parameter that is equal to or greater meets the requirements of the SWZ. The description of the method of performing the contract is contained in the annexes to the SWZ – Draft Agreement. An agreement will be concluded separately for each part.
