Opportunity description

1. The subject matter of the contract is the supply of computer equipment for the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering of Gdańsk University of Technology. The contract is to be co-financed with funds from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education under a targeted grant for the implementation of an investment entitled: “Purchase of laboratory infrastructure supporting education in fields strategic for the development of a knowledge-based economy: Automation, Robotics and Control Systems and Artificial Intelligence” The subject matter of the contract has been divided into two parts: Part 1: Supply of 10 computing servers and 20 desktop computer sets. Part 2: Supply of 40 computer sets. 2. The Contracting Authority permits the submission of tenders for individual parts, in accordance with the division made above in paragraph 1. Contractors may submit one tender for any number of parts of the procedure. 3. Place of performance of the subject matter of the contract: Gdańsk University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering, ul. Narutowicza 11/12, 80-233 Gdańsk, building no. 12, room 201. 4. A detailed description of the subject matter of the contract is contained in Annexes no. 3A and 3B to the SWZ, Description of the subject matter of the contract. 5. The Contractor is obliged to perform the contract in accordance with the principles and conditions described in the draft contractual provisions constituting Annexes no. 5A and 5B to the SWZ. 6. The Contractor is obliged to unambiguously specify the products offered by identifying, in the item-and-price form constituting Annexes no. 4A and 4B to the SWZ, the required information enabling identification of the offered subject matter of the contract. The form constitutes the content of the tender and may not be supplemented. The Contracting Authority additionally requires the submission of subject-matter evidence. Detailed information is contained in Chapter XVII of the SWZ. 7. In accordance with the possibilities provided by the Act of 11 March 2004 on tax on goods and services (Article 83(1)(26)(a) of that Act – i.e. Journal of Laws of 2006, item 507, as amended), the Contracting Authority will take steps toward applying a “zero” VAT rate to servers and desktop computer sets included in Annex no. 8 to that Act. If the Ministry of Science and Higher Education does not send the relevant certificate by the time the invoice is issued, the Contractor will issue an invoice including VAT and, after receiving the aforementioned certificate, will issue a VAT correction invoice. 8. The subject matter of the contract must be brand-new, not previously used, technically operational, free from legal and physical defects, and compliant with the recommendations, standards, and applicable technical and operational requirements in force in the territory of the Republic of Poland. 9. The Contracting Authority requires the Contractor to provide a guarantee and statutory warranty for the offered subject matter of the contract for a period of at least 24 months, calculated from the date of signing the acceptance and handover report without reservations (applies to Parts 1 and 2 of the procedure). 11. The Contracting Authority requires the contract performance period to be: for Part 1: up to 30 calendar days from the date of conclusion of the contract. for Part 2: up to 30 calendar days from the date of conclusion of the contract. The Contracting Authority states that, due to the co-financing conditions, the final, non-extendable deadline for performing both parts of the contract financed with funds from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education is set as 15.12.2026. This is the maximum period for performance of the subject matter of the contract, calculated from the date of conclusion of the contract to the date of signing the acceptance and handover report without reservations. Note! The final deadline for performance of the entire contract and payment of the invoice is set as 31.12.2026. After that date, the Contracting Authority will not have funds available to perform the subject matter of the contract and will withdraw from the contract without setting an additional deadline, and the Contractor will not make any claims against it on that account. By technical documentation, the Contracting Authority understands in particular: − technical specifications made available by manufacturers or distributors − manufacturer’s or distributor’s catalog sheets − descriptions or catalog sheets prepared by the Contractor on their basis, together with an indication of the sources of the information presented, e.g. the website address of the manufacturer or distributor. Where the Contractor offers its own products, they may not infringe the economic copyrights of third parties. The indicated sources of information on the basis of which the technical documentation was prepared must be verifiable during the procedure. The technical documentation must confirm all required technical parameters of the subject matter of the contract specified in the description of the subject matter of the contract.
