Opportunity description

The subject matter of the Contract is the management and provision of supervision and control over the performance of the Construction Contract during the implementation of the design and Works under the project: “Increasing the capacity of the Tczew – Gdynia route: Pszczółki – Pruszcz Gdański section”. The scope of the contract also includes: Material option right – consisting in the management and provision of supervision over the design and execution of construction works on: railway line No. 9 on the section from km 307,880 to km 315,420 and from km 317,510 to km 320,110, railway line No. 226 from km 0,060 to km 0,260, and railway line No. 260 from km 3,494 to km 14,767; Time option right for the basic scope – consisting in the Contracting Authority’s right to extend the implementation period of the Basic Scope by a maximum of 12 months. Time option right for the Material Option Right – consisting in the Contracting Authority’s right to extend the implementation period of the Material Option Scope by a maximum of 6 months. The Contracting Authority envisages awarding contracts referred to in Article 388 point 2)(c) of the Act. The scope of the contracts referred to in Article 388 point 2)(c) of the Act and the conditions under which they will be awarded are specified in the OPZ. In accordance with Article 257 of the Pzp Act, the Contracting Authority envisages the possibility of cancelling the contract award procedure if the public funds that the Contracting Authority intended to allocate to finance all or part of the contract have not been granted to it. Similar contracts will be awarded under the single-source procurement procedure, following prior negotiations with the Contractor, particularly regarding the terms of the contract, including the price, completion date, guarantee period/warranty period, on terms analogous to those indicated in the basic contract, and may include the provision of investor’s supervision over the preparation of design documentation and the execution of construction works carried out in the area covered by the investment in question, encompassing the following disciplines: track works (surface, subgrade, soil foundation, drainage); engineering structures and civil engineering structures (i.e. road viaducts, railway viaducts, retaining walls, culverts, under-track passages); traction power engineering and non-traction power engineering; road works (detour roads, access roads, parallel roads, loading yards, ramps, etc.) serving traffic within the railway area; telecommunications; gas, heating, ventilation and sanitary networks; railway traffic control; cable routes, overhead and cable power networks, water and sewerage networks, central heating networks, gas networks, industrial networks, removal of all existing obstacles and conflicts; passenger service facilities (platforms together with equipment and pedestrian and vehicular access); buildings and structures (including signal boxes, buildings for railway traffic control equipment, etc.); acoustic barriers; provision of surveying services; provision of cost-estimation services; provision of services in the field of railway traffic engineering and transport organisation; provision of financial and economic services; provision of environmental protection services; other services covered by the basic contract (particularly with regard to obtaining administrative decisions and providing author’s supervision).
