The subject matter of the contract is: 1. “Reconstruction of the A2 motorway on the section from the Łódź Północ junction (excluding the junction) to the border between the Łódź and Mazowieckie Voivodeships by adding additional traffic lanes. Section B from km from km 389+678 to km 411+466, carried out as part of the project entitled: Widening of the A2 motorway on the section from the Łódź Północ junction (excluding the junction) to the border between the Łódź and Mazowieckie Voivodeships by adding additional traffic lanes”. The subject matter of the contract is the reconstruction of the A2 motorway by widening it with additional traffic lanes, which for implementation section B consists of increasing the width of each carriageway by 3.0 m on the inner side, using the existing wide central reservation. Together with the widening of the carriageway, the number of lanes in both directions will change, i.e. the cross-section will change from 2/2 to the target cross-section of 2/3. The above section constitutes part of the A2 motorway and is located in the Łódź Voivodeship, in the following counties: Łowicz and Skierniewice, within the municipalities of: Łyszkowice, Nieborów, Bolimów. 2. Implementation and maintenance of temporary traffic management based on the documentation entitled Detour according to Traffic Management Strategy No. 3 – as an optional scope – Option right No. 1. Based on the design documentation supplied by the Contracting Authority, the Contractor will be required to set out on site, implement, maintain, dismantle and dispose of the temporary traffic management elements informing road users about the designated detours. The Contractor will be required to maintain the signage in question for a period of at least 24 months from the date of its implementation. If the period indicated by the Contracting Authority is extended, the Contractor will be entitled to additional remuneration for maintaining the signage in the amount specified by the Contractor in the Tender – Consolidated Cost Statement, item II.2a, for each month during which the signage is in operation. The scope of the contract (points 1, 2 and 3 above) includes the performance of all work necessary for the proper functioning of the motorway, in accordance with the Contracting Authority’s requirements.
