Opportunity description

1. The subject matter of the contract is the implementation of the investment project entitled: “Relief Channel for the Strzyża Stream - Stage II”. 2. The contract is divided into two scopes: 1) Scope No. 1 – BASIC, which includes the execution of construction works based on the design documentation entitled: “Relief Channel for the Strzyża Stream - Stage II”, and 2) Scope No. 2 - OPTION, which includes the execution of construction works based on the design documentation entitled: “New skatepark for Wrzeszcz with a basketball hoop in Park nad Strzyżą” – as part of the 2023 Participatory Budget in Gdańsk”. For the purposes of implementing Scope No. 1, an Agreement was signed between the Municipality of the City of Gdańsk, in whose name and on whose behalf the Directorate for the Expansion of the City of Gdańsk acts, and Gdańska Infrastruktura Wodociągowo-Kanalizacyjna Sp. z o.o. 3. The material scope of the works includes all work, activities and works necessary to complete the investment task, including in particular the following elements: 3.1) Scope No. 1 – BASIC, which includes: 1) DRMG scope: a) construction of a new section of the stormwater collector, the so-called “relief channel” for the Strzyża stream, from the intersection of Wajdeloty Street and Waryńskiego Street to the outlet into the open channel of the Królewski stream in “Nad Strzyżą” park in Gdańsk Wrzeszcz, b) construction of the open bed of the relief channel, c) construction of a footbridge over the open channel to provide safe pedestrian and bicycle traffic, d) complete reconstruction of Danusi Street with respect to the existing utility networks, sidewalks and road surface, e) landscaping, including planting new trees in the area of the pedestrian and bicycle footbridge, transplanting trees in Strzyża Park, planting municipal planters and restoring the lawn. f) installation of street furniture, i.e. benches, waste bins, bicycle racks, g) construction of ramps and entrances to properties along the reconstructed road system, h) reconstruction of conflicting underground and above-ground utilities to the extent arising from the needs of the investment in question and the justified requirements of the respective network administrators, i) restoration of sections of the surfaces of the following streets: Wajdeloty, Waryńskiego and Wyspiańskiego, j) renovation of the pedestrian crossing and bicycle crossing on Wyspiańskiego Street – pavement structure KN 1.3 shall be used, k) restoration of the surface in the area where work is being carried out - renovation work in accordance with the detailed design, l) renovation of the sidewalk adjacent to the property at 4D Danusi Street, m) reinforcement of the pavement structure of the sidewalk leading to “Nad Strzyżą” Park, n) construction of an access road to the vortex separator, o) reconstruction of the existing lighting together with the installation of new stylized lighting poles on prefabricated foundations with LED-type luminaires, p) reconstruction of conflicts involving the power and telecommunications networks to the extent necessary for implementation of the investment, q) construction of flood protection in the form of stoplogs at the pedestrian footbridge located in the park at the level of Ludwika Mierosławskiego Street and Doktora Franciszka Kubacza Street – the protection involves dismantling a section of the existing sidewalk and constructing a foundation for the stoplog beams across the entire width, as well as posts/walls for installing vertical guides. 2) Scope of GIWK sp. z o.o.: 1) construction of a water supply network together with service connections along the entire length of Danusi Street, including: a) replacement of the DN100 cast-iron water main from the intersection with Waryńskiego Street to the intersection with Wyspiańskiego Street, b) decommissioning of the existing network by filling it with slurry and dismantling the fittings, c) connection of the DN100 water supply network from Zawiszy Czarnego Street to the designed water main, d) reconnection of the existing service connections (4D, 6 Danusi Street), e) replacement of service connections together with water-meter assemblies (1, 2A, 4, 4A, 4B, 4C, 5, 7 Danusi Street, 2 Zawiszy Czarnego Street, 24 Wyspiańskiego Street), f) removal of unused service connections, g) restoration of the surface in the area where work is being carried out in accordance with the detailed design. 3.2) Scope No. 2 – OPTION, which includes: 1) Preparatory work: a) milling of mineral-bituminous mixture surfaces together with their disposal; b) clearing the site of construction remnants, rubble and other waste; c) dismantling a section of the existing pedestrian access route; d) dismantling and disposal of the remaining skatepark equipment – bench (1 pc.). handrail (1 pc.), basketball hoop; e) protection of the existing greenery – shrubs and tall greenery, i.e. trees in the immediate vicinity of the investment site, for the duration of the earthworks; f) preparation of the site for the planned investment. 2) Construction of the skatepark: a) construction of a concrete-slab surface on a cement-sand bedding layer; b) construction of obstacle cores made of polystyrene foam; c) construction of the reinforced-concrete surface of the obstacles, finished by hand. 4. As part of performing the subject matter of the contract, the Contractor is required to obtain a final occupancy permit for the structures covered by the subject matter of the contract. 5. The detailed scope of the contract and the performance conditions have been specified in the Description of the Subject Matter of the Contract (OPZ), constituting Appendix No. 8 to the SWZ. The remaining conditions for performance of the contract have been specified in the Draft provisions of the public procurement contract, constituting Appendix No. 9 to the SWZ.
