1. The subject of the contract is the implementation of the task entitled “Expansion of the bus depot together with the construction of a workshop and social building and the installation of photovoltaic panels at Sikorskiego Avenue” under the “design and build” formula, comprising the design and construction of infrastructure for the production and self-consumption of electricity based on a PV photovoltaic installation and the expansion of the bus depot at Sikorskiego Street in Olsztyn. 2. The scope of works covered by the subject of the contract is described in the design documentation prepared for the task entitled “Expansion of the bus depot with regard to the construction of a workshop and social building, expansion of the maneuvering yard with new parking spaces, and the Functional and Utility Program for the task involving the construction of infrastructure for the production and self-consumption of electricity based on a PV photovoltaic installation and the expansion of the bus depot at Sikorskiego Street in Olsztyn. 3. A detailed description of the subject of the contract and its size and scope are specified in the Specification of Contract Conditions and in the annexes to the SWZ. 4. The Contracting Authority envisages awarding similar contracts referred to in Article 214(1)(7) of the Pzp Act within 3 years from the date of awarding the basic contract. If additional financial resources are available, the Contracting Authority will award the Contractor with whom an agreement is signed in this procedure a contract/contracts consisting of the repetition of similar construction works, as provided for in this contract notice. The Contracting Authority envisages awarding contracts referred to in Article 214(1)(7) of the Pzp Act, with an estimated value of up to 5 000 000 zł., whose scope will include, in particular, the following elements: 1) construction or reconstruction of retaining walls or reinforcement of slopes, 2) construction or reconstruction of a rectifier substation for tram traction, 3) construction and reconstruction of utility networks in areas connected with the investment, 4) construction or reconstruction of sidewalks or pedestrian and bicycle paths or bicycle paths connected with the investment, 5) tree removal and management of greenery, 6) carrying out new greenery plantings or compensatory plantings, 7) construction or reconstruction of structures together with the development of areas adjacent to or within the investment area not indicated in the construction design. The above-mentioned construction works are similar to the construction works that are the subject of the basic contract; therefore, the construction works covered by the similar contract are similar in type to the works covered by the basic contract. The scope of works in question not only shows similarity to the basic contract but is also consistent with its subject. Bearing in mind that the performance of the construction works covered by the basic contract, as well as the contract under Article 214(1)(7) of the Pzp Act, is intended to ensure the full functionality of the facility, it should be stated that there is also a functional connection between them. 5. The stated estimated contract value of 41 783 901,98 zł. includes the value of the basic contract: 36 783 901,98 zł. and the value of the contract under Article 214(1)(1) of the Pzp Act: 5 000 000,00 zł. 1.
