The subject matter of the contract is the construction work necessary to carry out the task provided for under the Contract entitled: “Separation of the combined sewer system into sanitary and stormwater sewer systems together with the reconstruction of technical infrastructure in Kolegialna St., Misjonarska St., Jakubowskiego St., Krótka St. and at Obrońców Warszawy Sq.” The aforementioned subject matter of the contract constitutes an element of an investment project aimed at constructing a stormwater sewer system in the center of the city of Płock. The subject matter of the task is the construction of a new stormwater sewer system in the center of the city of Płock, while simultaneously separating the existing combined sewer system into separate sanitary and stormwater sewer systems, together with the restoration of road surfaces and the reconstruction of the indicated existing technical infrastructure. The implementation of this project is of key importance for improving the functioning of the city’s water and sewer infrastructure, reducing the risk of flooding, and improving matters related to environmental protection. The planned work includes the construction of new sections of the stormwater sewer system together with connections to properties and stormwater inlets used to drain the road right-of-way. The Contractor is obliged to apply all measures to protect roads and engineering structures leading to the construction site against damage and soiling that may be caused by construction work or by the transport and equipment of the Contractor or its suppliers and subcontractors or further subcontractors; in particular, it should comply with the applicable vehicle axle-load restrictions when transporting materials and equipment to and from the construction site. The Contractor is obliged to secure the places where the work will be carried out, in particular in places accessible to third parties, around excavations left during dusk and at night. The surfaces of the individual streets must be restored immediately after completion of the network construction work, and documented acceptance must be obtained from the administrator of the relevant road/road parcel.
