Opportunity description

1. The subject matter of this contract is the provision of a specialist service consisting in the acquisition of archival aerial photographs from the National Archives of the United States (National Archives and Records Administration (NARA)) for the territory of the Republic of Poland—Part I, under the project “Ensuring the availability and use by citizens and entrepreneurs of innovative network services and spatial data, together with improved safety and the protection of human health and life provided by public administration (Smart Geoportal)” 2. Due to the specific nature of the contract, it will be carried out in three stages, i.e.: Stage I: Archival research of NARA holdings and construction of a spatial (vector) database of the coverage areas of aerial photographs from 1939–1945. Stage II: Spatial analysis of territorial coverage and selection of the optimal set of reference materials for scanning. Stage III: Acquisition, digitization and calibration (assignment of georeferencing) of scans constituting source material for future studies. for the selected test areas. 3.
