Opportunity description

1.The subject of the contract is comprehensive care of homeless animals, including the capture of homeless animals, free-roaming cats and wild animals from the territory of the City of Suwałki, in the years 2027-2028. 2.As part of the subject of the contract: 1)taking over the care of homeless animals belonging to the City of Suwałki, staying as of 31.12.2026 at the Sianożęć Animal Shelter, and providing care for homeless animals captured in the territory of the City of Suwałki in 2027 and 2028, 2)capture of homeless animals, free-roaming cats, farm animals and wild animals, including game animals and protected animals, from the territory of the City of Suwałki in the years 2027-2028. 3.A detailed description of the subject of the contract is contained in the “Description of the subject of the contract” (Appendix No. 2) and the “Material provisions of the contract” (Appendix No. 7). 4.The subject of the contract must be performed in accordance with: 1)the Act of 21 August 1997 on animal protection (Journal of Laws of 2023, item 1580, as amended)., 2)the Act of 21 November 2025 on animal health (Journal of Laws of 2025, item 1795). 3)the Regulation of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of 7 February 2026 on the minimum conditions for keeping dogs and cats in an animal shelter (Journal of Laws of 2026, item 154). 5.The Contractor must hold legal title to the shelter in which it will provide the service referred to in paragraph 2 point 1. 6.The Contractor is obliged to provide the necessary personnel holding the appropriate authorizations enabling the performance of the subject of the contract.
