Opportunity description

1. The subject of the contract is the provision of services related to the routine and emergency cleaning of street drainage facilities in the city of Chorzów for a period of 24 months from the date of conclusion of the contract. 2. The Contracting Authority has divided the contract into two parts and allows the submission of partial tenders, whereby a tender may be submitted for one part of the contract: 3. Part 1 of the contract: Routine and intervention/emergency cleaning of street drainage facilities in the city of Chorzów. 4. Part 2 of the contract: Routine and emergency cleaning of separators located in the city of Chorzów. Under Part 1 of the contract, the Contractor shall perform: 1) Routine (systematic) cleaning of street drainage facilities. During the 24-month period, the Contracting Authority anticipates a one-time cleaning of street drainage facilities, i.e. approximately 4,300 street gullies, approximately 900 linear metres of linear drainage and approximately 100 linear drainage manholes. Routine cleaning of street drainage facilities will be commissioned once for entire street routes. It is assumed that the above services will be performed between the second and fourth quarters of each calendar year falling within the term of the Contract. In the event of the renovation or reconstruction of a given street, the Contracting Authority reserves the right to exclude that street from the cleaning of facilities and to reduce the Contractor's remuneration. Payment of remuneration will take place after the cleaning service for the street drainage facilities along the entire route of the given street has been performed; invoices will be issued no more frequently than once a month. The Contractor shall provide a 6-month guarantee for the services performed, calculated from the date of acceptance of the cleaning performed for the given street. 2) Intervention cleaning of street drainage facilities. Intervention services will be performed successively, according to the Contracting Authority's current needs, on the basis of orders for individual services transmitted electronically by the Contracting Authority, specifying their scope, place, method and completion deadline. Orders will be settled after their completion on the basis of measurements and the unit prices specified by the Contractor in the Price Form, whereby these orders may be either comprehensive (i.e. consisting of more than one type of service among those specified in the Price Form) or individual, in accordance with the Contracting Authority's needs related to the maintenance of street drainage facilities. The Contractor shall provide a 6-month guarantee for the services performed, calculated from the date of acceptance of the completion of the given order. Furthermore, under Part 1 of the contract, the Contracting Authority anticipates the possibility of emergency orders, i.e. in sudden cases where road traffic safety is threatened. The occurrence of situations such as a construction disaster, natural disaster, or notification of the Contractor by the fire brigade, police or municipal guard of the need to take immediate action within the scope specified in the contract shall be equivalent to receipt of an order to carry out emergency work. A detailed description of the subject of the contract for Part 1 of the contract is provided in: a) Technical Specifications, concerning performance and acceptance requirements (Appendix No. 1 to the SWZ). b) assumptions for unit calculations (Appendix No. 5 to the SWZ), in which the scopes of work necessary to perform have been specified for each item of the Price Form. c) Price Form for Part 1 (Appendix No. 2A to the SWZ), which contains the anticipated quantities of services. 5. GENERAL REMARKS CONCERNING THE PERFORMANCE OF THE SUBJECT OF THE CONTRACT: 1) When carrying out the work, the provisions contained in the Technical Specifications for the Performance and Acceptance of Construction Works (Appendix No. 1 to the SWZ) must be followed. 2) The relevant STWiORB have been referenced in the Item Description (Appendix No. 5). 3) The Contractor is obliged to prepare and obtain approval for a temporary traffic management plan for the duration of the work. 4) The Contractor's obligations include marking the work site in a manner compliant with the conditions specified in Appendices Nos. 1-4 to the Regulation of the Minister of Infrastructure of 3 July 2003 on detailed technical conditions for road signs and signals and road traffic safety devices and the conditions for their placement on roads, except for orders requiring the complete closure of the carriageway (exclusion from vehicular traffic). 5) The Contractor is obliged to secure the work site on its own and at its own expense. 6) The Contractor is responsible for the work sites and the proper marking of the work site throughout the entire performance period of the given order. 7) The Contracting Authority imposes obligations on the Contractor concerning the management of waste generated as a result of activities arising from or related to the performance of the contract, including the loading and removal of waste from the work performed, in particular extracted sediment and other contaminants, including petroleum-derived compounds and foreign objects, as well as tidying the work site. The Contractor is obliged to carry out all waste-management activities in the manner specified by applicable law. The Contractor must possess all permits, decisions, licences and registrations concerning waste management required by law. The Contractor shall bear all costs associated with the above. Services within the above scope will be performed successively, according to the Contracting Authority's current needs, on the basis of orders for individual services transmitted electronically by the Contracting Authority, specifying their scope, place, method and completion deadline.
