Opportunity description

1. The subject of the contract is group life insurance for employees of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, covering both the Toruń part of the University and the Bydgoszcz part (Ludwik Rydygier Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz), their spouses or life partners, and adult children. 2. Contract codes according to the Common Procurement Vocabulary (CPV): 66511000-5. 3. A detailed description of the subject of the contract is contained in Annex No. 1 to the SWZ. 4. The age and gender structure of the Contracting Authority's employees and persons currently insured under the group life insurance contract is contained in Annex No. 2 to the SWZ, which consists of the following parts: 1) employees; 2) insured employees; 3) co-insured persons reported by employees. 5. A detailed list of benefits paid, covering both the Toruń part of the University and the Bydgoszcz part (Ludwik Rydygier Collegium Medicum in Bydgoszcz), constitutes Annex No. 3 to the SWZ. 6. For the purpose of determining the estimated value of the contract, the tender price, and the maximum value of the insurance contract, the Contracting Authority adopted the following data concerning the number of persons who may potentially join the insurance under the group life insurance contract: 1) number of employees as at 31.03.2026: 4662; 2) number of co-insured persons reported by employees as at 31.03.2026: 863. 7. The total number of persons potentially subject to insurance adopted by the Contracting Authority is: 5525. 8. The Contracting Authority does not guarantee that the number of persons specified above, or any other number of persons, will join the insurance contract. 9. The Contracting Authority does not permit the submission of partial tenders. The subject of the contract forms an indivisible whole. 10. The draft provisions of the public procurement contract that will be incorporated into the content of that contract are set out in Annex No. 4 to the SWZ. Procedure: open.
