Poland – Machinery for the treatment of sewage – Supply and installation of equipment for the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant at ul. Wodna in Tarnowskie Góry – aeration diffusers for two biological reactors

Opportunity description

The subject matter of the contract is a supply covering the dismantling of old equipment, the supply and installation, including commissioning, of aeration diffusers for two biological reactors at the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant at ul. Wodna in Tarnowskie Góry. As part of the performance of the task, the Contractor shall dismantle the currently operating components of the aeration system, i.e. diffusers, conduits, air supply pipelines together with ball valves, and all installation fittings (e.g. connectors, clamps, etc.). Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji in Tarnowskie Góry (hereinafter referred to as the Operator) shall clean the biological reactors and dispose of the waste. This task shall be performed by the Operator in two stages: the first reactor no later than 4 May 2026, and the second reactor no later than 20 July 2026. On behalf of the Contracting Authority, the disposal of waste generated during the works shall be handled by Przedsiębiorstwo Wodociągów i Kanalizacji – the operator of the equipment at the Central Wastewater Treatment Plant. The Contracting Authority shall inform the Contractor when work may commence on the treatment plant premises after completion of the relevant stage of work related to the removal of waste from the reactor, provided that work on the first reactor may commence, without affecting the deadline for performance of this contract, no later than 20 May 2026. Work on the second reactor may commence, without affecting the deadline for performance of this contract, no later than 5 August 2026. Due to the fact that the new equipment must be compatible with the existing equipment and installation fittings, conducting a site visit before submitting a tender is recommended. The Contractor should be insured in respect of its business activities, as it is liable for any damage to the equipment both during transport and during installation of the equipment.
